ATHLETICS: 

  • Today, our Freshmen and JV football teams will play Dutchtown here in Wildcat Stadium. The freshmen start at 5:30pm, followed by JV.  Good luck Wildcats! 

  • There is a bass fishing team tonight in the cafeteria starting at 6:30pm. 

  • The Ladycats volleyball team will play away today at Denham Springs.  Freshmen start at 4pm, followed by JV and Varsity. Good luck Ladycats. 

  

 

ALL STUDENTS: 

  • Walker High will be reintroducing The Wildcat Chronicle! Explore your journalistic skills with the school newspaper. If you are interested Pick up application at the Wildcat Window and see Mrs. Meaux or Mrs. Watson in the library with any questions.  

  • The Wildcat Theatre Haunted House Presents Twisted Candyland! Come support Wildcat Theater and Stinger Stage Theater on Friday, October 31st at Events at Serenity from 6-9 PM. Tickets are $12 at the door. Don’t miss this spooky-sweet adventure! 

  • WHS FCA Crewneck sweatshirts are on sale for $25! This is a fundraiser so all WHS students can order. You will be able to wear this to school every day. Order through Online School Payments by Friday, October 24, 2025. 

  • Don’t forget to pay your fees and purchase your homecoming ticket by Friday in order to take advantage of the $25 price.  On Oct. 25th the price increases to $30 per ticket.  If you have homecoming questions, visit the Annex during your lunch break. 

  • Today is smoothie Tuesday! Grab yourself a smoothie during your lunch shift.  

  • We’re excited to announce the winner of our Neighbors Federal Credit Union Homecoming Basket Raffle…. Congratulations to Amy Luce! Please swing by during a free period to claim your prize!
