ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19, 2026
ATHLETICS:
·Any girl interested in trying out for the inaugural Lady Cat Flag football team must sign up in the Annex Office by Friday 8/21. There will be an informational meeting next week after school. Listen to announcements for the date and time.
SENIORS:
·Seniors, we still have a lot of senior portraits in the Annex that need to be picked up. Come by on your lunch break or before/after school and grab them.
STUDENTS:
·Theater Club will have a meeting on August 20th after school till 4pm!
·FCA will be every Friday morning at 7am in the theater room 210. This Friday we will have Pastor Cody Wilson as our guest speaker. All students are invited to attend.
·Any student interested in joining HOSA: A student organization for future healthcare professionals, should pick up a registration packet outside Mrs. Bourn's room, 311.
·Students, are you ready to start thinking about Homecoming? Today, during lunch, the Student LEADERS will have a table set up in the cafeteria and they are looking for your input. Stop by and grab a Feedback Form, fill it out, and then give it to one of your LEADERS!!!

These announcements make the school day feel organized and full of opportunities. I especially liked seeing different clubs, sports, and student activities included for everyone. Basketball games are also a fun game to enjoy with friends, especially when school events bring people together. The Homecoming feedback idea sounds exciting too, and I would definitely join in this year.
