ATHLETICS: 

• Congratulations to the cross-country team. Yesterday at the Livingston Parish Championships, the men’s team took 3^rd place with Tristian Gibbons coming in 8^th in the top 10 athletes. Congratulations, cross country. 

• Today, our football team will play away at Dutchtown.  Come out and support your Wildcats.  The game starts at 7pm.  Good luck Wildcats! 

JUNIORS: 

• Photos from the ring ceremony are available to view and purchase through Barclell Studios.  Information was sent to you through Kinvo and is available on social media. 

ALL STUDENTS: 

• Next week starts homecoming week. Check out the daily themes on social media to make sure you are within guidelines.  Today is the last day to purchase homecoming tickets for $25. 

• WHS FCA Crewneck sweatshirts are on sale for $25! This is a fundraiser so all WHS students can order. You will be able to wear this to school every day. Order through Online School Payments by Friday, October 24, 2025. 

• Walker High will be reintroducing The Wildcat Chronicle! Explore your journalistic skills with the school newspaper. If you are interested Pick up application at the Wildcat Window and see Mrs. Meaux or Mrs. Watson in the library with any questions.  

• Drivers Education packets can be picked up at the Wildcat Window beginning today.  Classes are limited to the first 40 students to pay.  Payments should be made in the school cash online payment system.
