ATHLETICS:
Today, our varsity baseball team will play Zachary at home starting at 6pm.
The boys golf team has a match today at LSU.
The Lady Cats softball team will play Dutchtown here at home at 5pm.
CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to our MCJROTC drill teams. Our drill teams submitted their drill routines during the semi-finals of the Marine Corps National Drill competition and placed:
-In the Armed Division, the team was crowned Area 2 Champions, with an overall placement of 4th among 30 teams.
-In the Unarmed Division, the team received an overall placement of 9th among 30 teams.
-Both teams will compete in the Marine Corps Drill National Championships to be held on April 11th in Norman Park, GA.
Congratulations cadets and good luck in your preparation for the remainder of the drill season.
ALL STUDENTS:
The Scheduling Fair will be set up in the gym today. Students grades 9-11 can visit the fair during your lunch shift today.
All Juniors and Seniors were sent a link for Prom Clearances through Kinvo. Please complete this online request if you plan to attend prom. If you are a 9th or 10th grade student, you must be a guest of a Junior or Senior in order to attend prom. You must also clear and purchase your own ticket when they are open. You can get the link to the online clearance request from the Annex or Wildcat Window. Remember, you won’t be able to purchase prom tickets without doing a clearance request and all your fees will need to be paid. Prom tickets will not go on sale until March 2nd. Take care of your clearances now so that you’re ready to purchase your tickets when they open up. Prom Handouts will be given out during homeroom today to 11th and 12th grade students. Extra copies are at the Wildcat Window and the Annex.
Today is Smoothie Tuesday, they will be available for purchase at all lunch shifts.
