ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2026
ATHLETICS:
·Congratulations to our track and field athletes that participated in a meet yesterday. Both the boys' and girls' teams took 4th place.
1. Pole Vault - Eli Hegwood, 2nd place
2. 110 Hurdles - Jacsen Phengsimma, 3rd place
3. Discus - Wesley Wainwright, 3rd place
4. 4x1 -Boys' team took 2nd place and girls' team took 3rd place
5. 4x2 - Boys' team took 3rd place
6. Triple Jump - Kameron Rheames 1st place, Kermit Jackson 2nd place
7. Pole Vault - Adalyn Ryder, 2nd place
8. 400 mm dash - Arielle Patterson, 1st place
9. 100 & 200 mm dash - Nyla Riggins, 2nd place
10. High Jump - Logan Cookmeyer, 1st place
·Congratulations to our varsity baseball team for their win over Live Oak yesterday. Today, our baseball teams will play away at Live Oak starting with JV at 4pm, followed by Varsity.
·Also, congratulations to the Lady Cats softball team for their win over St. Charles Catholic. The Lady Cats softball team will away today in the St. Amant tournament.
CONGRATULATIONS:
·Congratulations to Jacob McQuery and Levi Lockhart for Placing 1st and Brennan Flemming and Luke Craig for Placing 4th in the Area 4 FFA Small Engines Contest, as well as Preston Comeaux and Anthony Bonano for placing 4th in the Area 4 FFA Welding Contest. All three teams will compete in the state contest on March 25th.

·Students, don’t forget the Scheduler will close at 3pm today. You need to make sure you have taken care of this if you haven't already done so.
·Happy National Beta Week! Today is BETA Friday. To celebrate the values of achievement, character, leadership, and service that National Beta represents, we will be having a Beta Dance Party during each lunch shift. It will be set up next to the green and white cookie site by the big tree. Don’t be afraid to stop by, have some fun, and hit a few dance moves with us.
