ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 2026   

ATHLETICS:

Congratulations to our 2026-2027 Cheerleaders: Saydee Ardoin, Camille Artieta, Brielle Ausbon, Ellasyn Badeaux, Isabella Bretz, Emma Dalton, Arianna Falcon, Hadley Forbes, Lilah Gerard, Londyn Guy, Ryleigh Harris, Kiara Herring, Alexa Hickey, Charis Kim, Demi Lockhart, Allie Marler, Kara McCaskill, Rylee Claire McKenzie, Ella Melancon, Emily Pendleton, McKenzie Roddy, Kenzie Saltz, Campbell Scott, Natalie Sibley, Parklyn Tate, and Lauren Zoll.
Congratulations to the Lady Cats softball team for their 12-2 win over Archbishop Hannan. The Lady Cats will play Denham Springs tomorrow here at home starting at 5pm. 
Today, the Lady Cats golf team has a match at Clark Park.
Congratulations to the boys’ baseball team for their win over Denham Springs yesterday.  Today, the JV baseball team will play Brusly here at home starting at 4pm. 
Congratulations to the Boys' Golf team for finishing first in their match yesterday at Santa Maria Golf Course. Congratulations to Creed Elledge for earning 1^st Place Medalist and Lawson Inman for earning 2^nd Place Medalist!

ALL STUDENTS:

Walker High students and staff don’t miss the Wildcat Theatre Senior Show. Come support our Senior theatre students on April 10th and 11th at 6:30 PM in the Wildcat Theatre, Room 210.
There will be a 4-H meeting this Thursday after school until 3:45 pm in room 1115.
Tryouts for 2027 Legacy Color Guard start next Tuesday after school in band room.  Interested students should pick up flyer at Wildcat Window or from Mr. Hirst in the band room.
