Announcements for Friday, August 14, 2026

ATHLETICS:  

·Girls Basketball will hold tryouts on Monday, August 17 after school in Wildcat Gymnasium. Tryouts are open to new students and girls who did not tryout in the spring. To try out you must have a current LHSAA Physical.

STUDENTS:

·Walker High DECA is now accepting student applications. Anyone interested please stop by Mr. Ballard's Room 1004 or see Mrs. Seguin at the Cookie Site for an application.

·ID Photos will be taken on Monday ONLY for those that do not have an ID.  Before you assume you do not have one, be sure to go by the library during lunch today to see if there is an ID there waiting for you!!!

·Starting next week, a replacement ID can be purchased before school or at lunch. 

·Monday, August 17 - ID pictures will be taken for any student without a picture ID on file. 

FRESHMEN:

·We are looking forward to your event tonight.  Don't forget ... wear tennis shoes!  Dress is casual, but school appropriate. Doors will open at 6pm.  Make sure you have your ticket pulled up and ready to show at the door so we can scan you in. 

·All Freshman will report to the library during your lunch shift to pick up a new ID.

SENIORS:

·Don't forget, if you took senior pictures during the summer, your proofs are in and need to be picked up from the Annex during your lunch or before/after school... not during class time.
