ATHLETICS:  

·Girls Basketball will hold tryouts on Monday, August 17 after school in Wildcat Gymnasium. Tryouts are open to new students and girls who did not tryout in the spring. To try out you must have a current LHSAA Physical.

STUDENTS:

·Fellowship of Christian Athletes will have our first meeting of the year this Friday morning in the theater room 210.  We meet before school every Friday from 7am until the bell.  All students are invited to attend, not just athletes.  See you Friday!

·Class Kickoff News: Sophomore Surge is cancelled for today. Any tickets purchased will be refunded. 

·The Freshmen Fusion scheduled for tomorrow IS ON!  Be sure to wear tennis shoes to the event so we don't scuff up the new gym floor!!! If you haven't got your ticket yet for the Freshmen Fusion, tonight at midnight is the deadline! The Race to the Top Leaderboard will be announced on Monday!

·There will be more opportunities to earn class points soon.  Be on the lookout for these announcements!

·Walker High DECA is now accepting student applications. Anyone interested please stop by Mr. Ballard's Room 1004 or see Mrs. Seguin at the Cookie Site for an application.
