CONGRATULATIONS:
Jonah LeBlanc set 5 personal records, and the Wildcat swim team had a school record 24 PR’s at the Capital City Swim League City Championships. LeBlanc swam in the consolation finals of the 200 freestyle and set PR’s on his 3 relays.
Harper Kelly took 15th in the 500 freestyle and became the first girl to score in the event for the Wildcats at the City Meet. She also had two PR’s in the 50 free and medley relay.
Getting 3 personal records each were Mallory Tatum, Noah Smith and Jack Gillich.
MCJROTC Raider A-Team won 1st place overall at the All-Service Raider Nationals in the Co-Ed Masters Division in Georgia. This event included the top Raider teams from all military branches nationwide.
1st -Raider Gauntlet
2nd- Physical Team Test & Cross-Country Rescue
4th-4K Team Mountain Run
7th-One Rope Bridge
Individual Achievements:
Cadet Braiden Manuel-3rd in Male Ultimate Raider
Cadet Sarah Duncan -4th in Female Ultimate Raider
Walker Raider “B” Team placed 3rd overall in the Challenge Division out of 26 national teams.
Event Placements:
3rd-Physical Team Test, Tire Flip, Gauntlet, Rope Bridge
8th-3K Mountain Team Run
Overall, both teams were recognized as National Champions in their respective divisions.
