ATHLETICS:

Tonight, the Wildcats football team will play Shaw here at home in Wildcat Stadium. Gates open at 6pm.

This weekend the Ladycat volleyball team will be participating in the Baton Rouge High tournament. Good luck Ladycats!

Tomorrow, our swim team will be competing in the Lafayette meet. Good luck Wildcats!

JUNIORS:

If you received a ring from Jostens last night and need adjustments made, Jostens will be on campus on Monday during all 3 lunch shifts.   If you ordered a ring from Jostens, and did not attend the ceremony, your ring can be picked up from the Main Office during your lunch break today … not during class time. 

ALL STUDENTS:

Students, if you are attending the game tonight, don’t forget to enter the stadium through our new student gate located on the backside of the field house. ALL students will need to show their STUDENT ID to enter. No backpacks will be allowed, and all purses will be subject to a search if deemed necessary by administration or security.

For the Homecoming pep rally, students can participate in the annual Battle of Classes Dance Off. If you would like to participate in the dance off, pick up a form at the Wildcat Window before school or during Lunch. Forms must be turned into Mrs. Normand by October 17th. You must turn in your form and attend all practices in order to participate.

TULANE University will be at all lunch shifts Today. He will be located in the front of the cafeteria.  He will have brochures to give you about what's HOT at TULANE!

The ultimate showdown is back -- Bloomer Bowl 2025 kicks off Monday, November 10th at 6:30 PM! Think your grade has what it takes? Sign up today and rep your class in the big game! Packet pick up is available at the Wildcat Window or the Annex! Deadline to register is Today!

The US Navy recruiter will be at all Lunch Shifts on Monday October 20.  Stop by the table in the front of the cafeteria to get current information about the NAVY!

WHS FCA Crewneck Sweatshirts are on sale for $25. This is a fundraiser so all WHS students can order. You will be able to wear this to school every day. Order through Online School Payments by Friday, October 24, 2025.

Students taking the ACT here tomorrow, make sure to bring with you regular number 2 pencils (no mechanical pencils) and your calculator. No calculators will be loaned out.
