ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2026      

ATHLETICS:  

·Your Lady Wildcats Volleyball team opened their season with both Varsity and JV beating Woodlawn! The JV scores were 25-17 and 25-21. The Varsity scores were 25-8, 25-11, and 25-12. Senior Olivia Nall had 8 kills and 3 aces. Junior Ava Sroggins had 22 assists, and 3 aces and Sophomore Brynlee Pitre had 8 kills. The next match will be at home on Thursday against Doyle. Freshmen match will start at 4:00.

• Our Varsity football team plays Ponchatoula this Friday, here at home at 7pm. The theme this Friday is USA. 

• Student tickets for our home games are $3 and available at i2Tickets.com 

STUDENTS:

·There will be a 4-H meeting on Thursday, September 3, in room 1115 until 3:30 pm. 

·The recruiter for University of Louisiana at LAFAYETTE will be here TODAY at all lunch shifts.  Stop by the table to pick up current information about UL.  Serena, the recruiter, will be available to answer any questions about UL.  

The US Air Force will be at all lunch shifts on Thursday.
