ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2026   

ATHLETICS:  

·Tonight is our "Bleacher Blast" Night ... all WHS students can get in free tonight, but you must show your physical student ID ... the one you wear every day!  DURING THE 3RD QUARTER, we will have students "sign in" right in front of the student section to earn class points. Listen for the announcement to know when to sign in!  Juniors & Sophomore ... this is your opportunity to tie the leaders!  Freshmen & Seniors, are you going to hold onto your spot at the top?

JUNIORS:

Attention Juniors: The Junior Ring Ceremony will be on Thursday, Oct. 22nd. This weekend you will receive a link through ParentSquare for signing up to participate in the event.  This is a traditional ring ceremony.  No other commemorative items are accepted for presentation.  If you purchased your ring from a source other than Jostens, you can start turning in your rings to the Front Office on Monday. They will be safely stored until the night of the event.  All details about the Ring Ceremony will be sent out this weekend so be watching for it. 

STUDENTS:

·All students are invited to FCA sponsored "Pizza and Jesus" Bible studies every lunch shift on Mondays and Wednesdays. "Pizza and Jesus" is in the team room next to the fieldhouse. See you there!Tickets for the Homecoming Dance will go on sale TODAY AFTER 3PM.  Be sure you have read and understand all the information regarding the purchase of tickets.  This information was given out during Advisory on Wednesday and sent through ParentSquare.  

·The LSU recruiter will be here at ALL lunch shifts on TUESDAY!

·"FCA sponsored Bring Your Bible to School Day will be this Thursday October 1st! FCA will be hosting Bible study before school at 7am in the Glen Ellis gym and also will be giving Bibles away at all lunch shifts.  So bring your Bibles and we will see you there!"

·Congratulations to the following HOSA members for being elected to a 2026-2027 Officer position: President- Isobel Arnold, Vice-President- Jayda Grinner, Reporter- Kaylee Jacobs, Treasurer- Briana Johnson, Secretary- Kailee Kahunahana, Historian- Reyna Gaudin
