ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 2026      

ATHLETICS:  

·If you are interested in Joining our Tennis team, come out May 7, from 3-4:45 to North Park Tennis Courts. You must bring a completed physical to tryout. Contact Coach V for any questions.

·Try-outs for the 2026-27 Girls Basketball Team will be held This Thursday, May 7 from 3:30-5:00 in Wildcat Gymnasium. Anyone trying out must present an up-to-date LHSAA physical. This will be the only day for tryouts. See Coach Sanchez in The Annex if you have any questions!

CONGRATULATIONS:

·Congratulations to the Walker MCJROTC drill teams. Over the weekend, the drill teams traveled to Daytona Beach, FL to compete in the National High School Drill Team Championship. This competition is open to every JROTC programs across the nation and different branches of service.  Our Armed drill team earned 3^rd place overall in their division.  And our Unarmed drill team earned the distinction of 2026 National High School Drill Team Championship Runner-Up. 

ALL STUDENTS:  

·Attention all students that signed up and turned in paperwork for the Student LEADERS Council: You will need to come by the NEW GYM LOBBY during your lunch shift today to pick up Campaign Guidelines and for a short meeting. Campaigning will start next Monday!
