ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 2026     

ATHLETICS:  

·Today is the 5-5A district track/field meet at Prairieville.  Good luck to all our athletes that will be participating today!

·Congratulations to Evelyn Artieta for winning the girls metro individual championship, and the Lady Cat Golf team for finishing 3^rd overall!

ALL STUDENTS:  

·FCAs annual Fields of Faith event will be today Wednesday at 6pm in the new gym. This is a student-led event that will have food, games, worship and a message. All students are invited!

·Today is FCA Sponsored Pizza and Jesus!

·The Walker High School swim team will have a meeting on Friday for returning swimmers and students interested in joining the swimming Program. The meeting will be at 6 PM this Friday in the Cafeteria. For more information, pick up an information sheet at the annex.

·WHS Boys Soccer tryouts will be held on Wednesday, April 29^th and Thursday, April 30^th at Walker High School stadium from 6pm-7:30pm. Any student wishing to tryout can grab a signup form in the annex as well as get a physical prior to tryouts.

·Attention:  AP Students and MCJROTC Students - If you have met the eligibility criteria, you can order a letterman jacket on Friday.  AP students should see Mrs. Wade in room 1005 to pick up an order form.  MCJROTC should ask Lt. Col. Tubbs or First Sgt. Johnson for an order form.
