ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THURSDAY, AUGUST 27, 2026       

ATHLETICS:  

·There will be a bass fishing team meeting on August 31^st in the cafeteria at 6:30pm.  If you are interested in finding out more, join us on August 31st. 

·On Friday, our Wildcats football team will play Denham Springs here at home in the Jamboree.  Tickets are $3 and can be purchased at i2Tickets.com.  

·If you missed ordering an athletic letterman jacket last year we will be taking orders on Thursday during all lunch shifts in the new gym lobby.  Order forms can be picked up from the Annex and must be pre-approved by your coach showing that you have lettered.  This is the last order date until December. 

·Interested in joining the Wrestling team? On September 1st, there will be a parent meeting from 6:00-6:30 and a tryout from 6:30-8:00 PM in the Wrestling Room

(located on 2nd floor of the Fieldhouse, next to the football stadium). Please be sure to bring a CURRENT LHSAA physical with you. Both boys and girls are welcome to try out! For further questions, reach out to Coach Chris Godso in Rm. T-126.

SENIORS:

·Seniors, interested in being a student section leader? Grab a form from the Wildcat Window and turn it in to Mrs. Normand in room 1013 by Tuesday, September 1st. There will be a meeting in Room 1013 on Wednesday after school until 3:00.

STUDENTS:

·Any student interested in joining HOSA: A student organization for future healthcare professionals, should pick up a registration packet outside Mrs. Bourn's room, 311.
