ATHLETICS:   

 

  • Today, our Lady Cats basketball team will play in Round 2 of the Playoffs. The game will be at 6:30pm at Zachary. Come out and support your Lady Cats. 

  • The tennis team will play Dunham today at the Lamar YMCA. 

  • The JV baseball team will play away at Zachary starting at 4pm. 

  • Congratulations to Eli Hegwood and Nyla Riggins for their 5th place finishes and Adalyn Rider for her 8th place finish in State. Great job indoor track athletes. 


 CONGRATULATIONS: 


  • Congratulations to the MCJROTC Rifle team. The rifle team competed over the weekend in the Annual State Rifle Competition where they finished 2nd Place Overall in the Marine Corps division. Additional congratulations to Cadet Alisha Grant who was the 2nd highest scoring cadet; with Cadet Gwendolyn Barbery placing 4th.  Job well done rifle team. 

  • Congratulations 

  • to the Drill Teams. The drill teams competed in the Annual Pershing Rifles Invitational Drill Meet over the weekend. The drill teams combined score allowed them to achieve 2nd Place Overall.  Job well done drill team. 

  • Congratulations to the Physical Training team. The Physical Training team competed in the Annual Pershing Rifles Invitational over the weekend. The Physical Training team finished 2nd Place Overall.  Job well done Physical Training Team. 

  • Congratulations Cadets, you continue set the example for Walker High School. 


SOPHMORES: 

 

  • Sophomores, Jostens will be returning on Thursday during all three lunch shifts to take orders and answer questions. They will be set up in the Wildcat Gymnasium lobby. 

 

ALL STUDENTS:   

  

  • Today is FCA sponsored "Pizza and Jesus” Join us on your lunch shift for Bible study.    

  • Wildcat Theatre is proud to present our upcoming production of Into the Woods, running March 5–7 at Serenity Events Center in Denham Springs. Tickets are $6 for students and children and $12 for adults. A special Dinner Theatre performance is also available for $40 per person. Tickets can be purchased online at i2tickets.com or at the door. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Mozingo in the theatre room. 

  • Please support the Band of Legacy by ordering from Cane’s today between 5-9pm. Mention the Band and portion of the proceeds will go to support them.
