ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2026    

ATHLETICS: 

·Interested in joining the Wrestling team? On September 1st, there will be a parent meeting from 6:00-6:30 and a tryout from 6:30-8:00 PM in the Wrestling Room

(located on 2nd floor of the Fieldhouse, next to the football stadium). Please be sure to bring a CURRENT LHSAA physical with you. Both boys and girls are welcome to try out! For further questions, reach out to Coach Chris Godso in Rm. T-126.

·Tonight, the bass fishing team meeting is at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. If you are interested in learning more, you can join us tonight.

SENIORS:

·Seniors, interested in being a student section leader? Grab a form from the Wildcat Window and turn it in to Mrs. Normand in room 1013 by Tuesday, September 1st. There will be a meeting in Room 1013 on Wednesday after school until 3:00.

STUDENTS:

·Any student interested in joining HOSA: A student organization for future healthcare professionals, should pick up a registration packet outside Mrs. Bourn's room, 311.

I noticed the wrestling tryout requires a current FNF LHSAA physical, but I wasn’t clear on whether students need to have the physical completed before September 1 or if they can bring proof that it’s already scheduled. Does the school accept any flexibility on that requirement?
