ATHLETICS:  
  • The Wildcat Swim Team came out strong at the Capital City Swim League Kickoff Meet on Saturday, racking up an incredible 17 personal records! Wildcats crushed 10 individual PRs and added 7 more in relays, setting the tone for an exciting season ahead. Leading the charge were Harper Kelly, Atlas Gillick, and Jonah LeBlanc, each powering through with three PRs. Mallory Tatum and Ryder Pettitt-Wise weren’t far behind, each snagging two PRs of their own. Way to go, Cats!


  • Congratulations to our Wildcat football team for their win over Ponchatoula last Friday.  The Wildcats are back in action this Friday as they are travelling to Woodlawn to take on the Panthers.  Tomorrow, the freshmen and JV football teams will also travel to Woodlawn.  Freshmen will play at 5:30pm, followed by JV.  Start making plans to come out and support your Wildcats this week!

 

CONGRATULATIONSS:  

  • Congratulations to the MCJROTC Walker Raider “B” Team for placing 2nd overall out of 9 teams at the Colquitt County Raider Challenge in Georgia this weekend. The Raiders placed 2nd in two events and 3rd in three events. Awesome job Raiders! 


ALL STUDENTS:  

  • Friday, September 12th is the deadline to register for the October 18th ACT without paying late fees. The ACT now takes less time than ever. You’ll be tested in English, Math, & Reading. Science and writing are optional. Go to myACT.org to register today!


  • The US ARMY recruiter will be here at all LUNCH SHIFTS on TUESDAY September 9.  Stop by the table at the entrance to the cafeteria.  He will be there to answer any questions and give you the most current information about the ARMY!


  • FCA Pizza and Jesus starts back this week and will be every Monday and Wednesday at all lunch shifts.  It will be in a new location in room 111 this year.  Everyone is invited!


  • FCA meets every Friday before school from 7-7:13am.  We are meeting in a new location in the theater room 210.  All students are invited to attend!  This Friday we will have the youth pastor from Walker Baptist, Pastor Austin McDaniel coming to speak
