ATHLETICS: 

• The Wildcat Swim Team recorded a school record 23 personal records at Saturday Lafayette Invitational Swim Meet. Senior Remy O’Reilly had 4 PRs in 4 events while Junior Ava Kennedy and sophomore Jonah LeBlanc had 3 PRs each. Every Wildcat swimmer competing got at least 1 PR. The Wildcats are now preparing for the annual City Championships in 2 weeks. 

  
  

• Congratulations to the freshmen football team for their win over Dutchtown last night. 

  
  

• Today, our Ladycats volleyball team will play Episcopal here at home in Wildcat Gymnasium.  Freshmen start at 4pm, followed by JV & Varsity.  It is Senior Night.  Come out and support your Ladycats!!! 

ALL STUDENTS: 

• There will be a meeting after school on Thursday, October 23 at 6pm in Mr. Mozingo’s room for EF Tour 2027 to Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Plan to attend if you are interested.  

  
  

• There will be a Fundraiser on Thursday, October 23, from 3pm-10pm at Texas Roadhouse to support our Walker Students participating in the 2026 London and Paris Trip. Dine in and help our students enjoy this educational experience.  

  
  

• WHS FCA Crewneck sweatshirts are on sale for $25! This is a fundraiser so all WHS students can order. You will be able to wear this to school every day. Order through Online School Payments by Friday, October 24, 2025.

• Walker High will be reintroducing The Wildcat Chronicle! Explore your journalistic skills with the school newspaper. If you are interested Pick up application at the Wildcat Window and see Mrs. Meaux or Mrs. Watson in the library with any questions.
