ATHLETICS: 

• Tonight, the Freshmen and JV football teams will be playing away at Denham Springs. Freshmen start at 5:30pm, followed by JV. Don’t forget, the Varsity game this week is on Thursday night, here at home. It will also be Senior Night.  Good luck Wildcats! 

CONGRATULATIONS: 

Congratulations to Walker MCJROTC. This weekend they won the following awards: 

• Unarmed Drill Team came in 2^nd Overall, first in Exhibition, 2^nd in Color Guard, 3^rd in Regulation. 

• Armed Drill Team came in 3^rd overall, 2^nd in Exhibition and 2^nd in Color Guard. 

• Rifle Team came in 2^nd overall. Cadet Alisha Grant was the overall top shooter from all the schools participating. And, 

• the PT Team came in 2^nd overall. Cadet Sarah Duncan was the top overall girl from all the schools participating in the Physical Fitness competition 

Congratulations to our MCJROTC teams and Cadets! 

ALL STUDENTS: 

• Join us for Pizza and Jesus during your lunch shift today in the new gym! 

• Walker High will be reintroducing The Wildcat Chronicle! Explore your journalistic skills with the school newspaper. If you are interested Pick up application at the Wildcat Window and see Mrs. Meaux or Mrs. Watson in the library with any questions.  

• Drivers Education packets can be picked up at the Wildcat Window. Classes are limited to the first 40 students to pay.  Payments should be made in the school cash online payment system. 

• Thursday is the last day to purchase homecoming dance tickets. They are now $30 each.  Your school fees must be paid before you order tickets.  Every Walker student must purchase their own ticket. You can only purchase 2 tickets if you are purchasing for a guest from another school. 

• Reminder to all students and faculty parking in the football parking lot you will need to remove your car immediately after school on Wednesday due to homecoming parade.
