ATHLETICS:

• Tryouts for the Girls Soccer team will be held Monday, October 13 and Wednesday, Oct 15 after school from 3-5. You must have a completed LHSAA physical to try out. Forms can be found on the Walker High School website and must be turned in on Monday, October 13 before practice. Any questions see Coach Sanchez in the Annex.

• There will be a girls Golf Meeting at the beginning of 4th block in the Annex on Tuesday October 7th. Check in with your 4th block teacher first for what they have scheduled.

• Tonight, our football team will play away at Prairieville starting at 7pm.  Come out and show some support to your Wildcats!

• Tomorrow, we have several Wildcats that will be participating in some competitions:

• Our swim team will be participating in the Lutcher Invitational.

  
  

• Our bass fishing team will be competing in the Calcasieu tournament.

  
  

• Our MCJROTC Raider Team will be competing in Slidell at Camp Villere

• We are excited to share that Neighbors will be conducting a WHS Homecoming Basket Giveaway this year! Any student that opens a new Mascot Checking account between 09/08/2025-10/17/25 will be entered into a drawing to win a Wildcat Branch Homecoming Gift Basket of $250.00 value.  

  
  

• LA Tech University will be here on all lunch shifts Today!  LA Tech is known for its degree in Forestry and degrees in Engineering, Education and Business. Stop by the table in the front of the cafeteria on Friday to get the most current information from LA Tech! 

  
  

• Centenary College of Louisiana will be here on Monday October 6 at all lunch shifts in the cafeteria. Centenary is known for its Professional and Pre-Professional preparation.  They offer many undergraduate programs.  Stop by the table in the front of the cafeteria on Monday to get the most current information from the recruiter from Centenary.
