Announcements for Tuesday, March 3, 2026

ATHLETICS:  

·Congratulations to the following Tennis team members for winning their matches yesterday against Parkview: Kameron Boykin, Presley Dinacola, Eva Bencaz, and Analeigh Murry. 

·Today, our Lady Cats softball team will play away at St. Amant.

·Our varsity baseball team is playing Thibodaux today at home starting at 6pm

ALL STUDENTS:

·Golden Wildcats Dance Team Tryout Packets are now available at the Wildcat Window! Tryouts will be held March 23-27! Packets are due March 19th!

·The Army National Guard recruiter will be at all LUNCH SHIFTS tomorrow.  Please stop by the table in front of the cafeteria to get information on the ARMY NATIONAL GUARD!  

·Today is Smoothie Tuesday, Grab you a refreshing smoothie on your lunch shift.

·There will be a 4-H meeting this Thursday, March 5^th after school until 3:30 pm in room 1115.

·Prom tickets went on sale yesterday for the Limited Time discounted ticket. The price will go up so purchase your tickets soon. Remember, you must be CLEARED to purchase tickets.

1.  Everyone that submitted a Clearance request for prom should have received an email stating whether you owed fees or if you were clear to purchase tickets. Check the email that you used in your clearance request to see if you are cleared.

2.  If you did not get an email, there was probably an issue with your email address. You can check at the Annex during your lunch to see whether you are clear (not during class).

3.  There were some ticket purchases, with no clearance request. Your ticket will be cancelled if we do not receive your clearance request within 24 hours.

4, Some prom tickets were purchased yesterday, and you owe fees.  These tickets will be voided if you do not take care of your fees within 24 hours.

5. Remember, all Walker High students must purchase their own ticket.
