Announcements for Tuesday, February 3, 2026

ATHLETICS:  

  •  Any girl interested in trying out for cheer should pick up a tryout packet at the Wildcat Window or the Annex! 

  • Today, our Lady Cats basketball team will play away at Prairieville. JV starts at 5:30pm, followed by Varsity. 

  • The boys’ basketball team will play Prairieville here at home. Freshmen start at 5pm, followed by JV and Varsity. 

  • The Lady Cats softball team will play away at Ascension Catholic starting at 4:30pm. 

   

ALL STUDENTS:  

  •  Don’t forget to stop by Raising Cane’s tonight from 5 to 9 PM to support the Walker High Cheerleaders.  

  • Today is smoothie Tuesday! Grab yourself a smoothie during your lunch shift.  

  • Any student who has completed Carpentry 1 and 2 with Mr. Holland and is interested in the ABC Pelican Chapter or FFA Area IV Carpentry competitions should see Mr. Holland this week in room 5003. Practices begin the week of February 16—Stop by the ag building to pick up plans and start design work.  

  • There will be a 4-H Club meeting on February 5th after school in Room 1115. 

  • Students, there is no school tomorrow for students due to a Teacher Development Day. Classes will resume on Thursday.
