ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2026
ATHLETICS:
·Congratulations to our Lady Cats volleyball team for their win over Central Private last night. The Lady Cats are back in action today in an away game at Episcopal. Good luck, Lady Cats!
·Tomorrow our Wildcats football team will play at home against East Ascension in another big district game. Have you made plans to be there? This is our annual "pink" game. Student tickets are $3 through i2Tickets.com but you MUST bring your student ID to get in for the discounted price. Come out and support your Wildcats!!!
STUDENTS:
·Students, are you interested in playing a game at the pep rally tomorrow? The Student L.E.A.D.E.R.S. will be set up in the cafeteria during all 3 lunch shifts today, looking for people interested in participating in the pep rally game. Stop by their table in the cafeteria to put your name in the game participate drawing!
·The US Air Force recruiter will be here at all lunch shifts today! Stop by the table in front of the cafeteria to talk with recruiter and get the most current information!
MENUS:
Lunch Line: Food Truck: Pork Nachos/Jambalaya
Breakfast Line: Grits and Buttered Toast
The note about needing a student ID to get the discounted ticket price stands out, since students who forget theirs would pay full price at the gate. It might help to clarify whether IDs can be verified another way, or if there's a way to buy the cheaper ticket in advance without one. Also, pairing the pink game with a pep rally game drawing seems like a smart way to boost turnout.
