ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2026      

ATHLETICS:  

·Any student interested in being on the Tennis Team for the upcoming season, there will be a mandatory informational meeting right after school today in room 1108A till 3:30. Please see Coach V in room 1108A if you have any questions. 

·Congratulations to our Wildcats football team for their 56-49 win over Erath on Friday night. This week our Wildcats play away at Scotlandville and our game theme is Western.

SENIORS:

·Seniors, don't forget the make-up day for senior portraits is on Saturday, Sept. 19th , 9am-1pm in the Glenn Ellis Gym. 

CONGRATULATIONS:

·Congratulations to the Walker Raiders for winning the Fontainebleau Raider Challenge on Saturday. Out of five team events, Walker had three first place finishes, a second and a fourth. Cadets Juan Ledezma and Ava Kennedy won the Ultimate Raider Duo competition. Great job Raiders!

·We would like to congratulate our Cross-Country runners on their outstanding performances this weekend! 

STUDENTS:

·Our next 4-H meeting will be held after school on Wednesday, September 16, in Room 1115. The meeting will last until 3:30 PM.

·Interested in SeaPerch Underwater ROV? Following the 4-H meeting, we will have a SeaPerch Underwater ROV Informational Meeting for anyone interested in learning more about joining the team.

·Theatre has a troupe meeting today after school, and it is mandatory.

·We are looking for a few more runners to complete our Cross-Country team. If you are interested in joining, please see Ms. Renell Gunter in Room 1108 or send her an email. If you would like to learn more about Cross Country, join us for a run at Sidney Hutchinson Park on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Come out, meet the team, and see what Cross Country is all about! We would love to have you join us.
