ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR MONDAY, MAY 4, 2026
ATHLETICS:
·If you are interested in Joining our Tennis team, come out May 7, from 3-4:45 to North Park Tennis Courts. You must bring a completed physical to tryout. Contact Coach V for any questions.
·If you are interested in joining the cross-country team, there will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 5th, at 3pm on the track. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Bernard.
·Anyone interested in trying out for the volleyball team must have an up to date physical. If you do not, you will not be able to tryout. If it expires soon, you may tryout but MUST attend the school physical day on May 6th. Tryouts are today right after school, 2:30-4:30. See Coach Hebert in room 101 or Rivero in the gym for more information!
·Try-outs for the 2026-27 Girls Basketball Team will be held This Thursday, May 7 from 3:30-5:00 in Wildcat Gymnasium. Anyone trying out must present an up-to-date LHSAA physical. This will be the only day for tryouts. See Coach Sanchez in The Annex if you have any questions!
·Congratulations to the boys' baseball team for their great season this year. We are proud of you.
·Volleyball tryouts are today, 2:30-4:30pm in the Glenn Ellis gym.
·Tonight is the track and field banquet. Don't forget to pick up your tickets from the Annex by 2:30pm today!
·Congratulations to the bass fishing team. We had 5 teams qualify for the State Championship, and they brought home the Team Award for the State of Louisiana. These 3 teams consisted of: 20th place: Cade Best & Jace Pate; 7th place: Gavin Alexander & Jace Johnson, and 6th place: Tyler Laughlin & Drake Burchfield. Congratulations Wildcats!
·Athletes, don't forget the Annual Physical Day is Wednesday, May 6th. Flyers are in the Annex if you need to know what time you are supposed to go. Returning athletes ... your required forms are posted under "documents" in Healthy Roster. Please make sure all paperwork is taken care of. If you have questions, please see Coach Sanchez in the Annex.
SENIORS:
·Today is Senior Clearance Day in Wildcat Gymnasium. Please report to the gym according to the schedule on your clearance sheet. Your clearance sheet must be completely filled out in order to clear.
