ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR MONDAY, MARCH 23, 2026   


ATHLETICS:

·Today, the Lady Cats golf team has a match at Clark. 

·The Tennis team has a match against Denham Springs at North Park.

·Our JV baseball teams will play away at St. Amant starting at 4pm. 


CONGRATULATIONS:

·Congratulations MCJROTC. The cadets competed over the weekend against 11 schools at the Northshore Drill and Physical training competition.  Of the 10 competition categories, our program earned:

1st place in 5 categories

2nd place in 4 categories

3rd place in 1 category

The Drill Teams finished 1st Place Overall in Drill Division. 

The Physical Training Team finished 1st Place Overall in the Physical Training Division. 

Our MCJROTC program earned the Overall Championship for the Northshore Drill and Physical Training Meet.  Great job cadets. Good luck in your preparations for the upcoming Drill and Raider National competitions. 

·Congratulations to our 2026 Prom Queen and King:  Jenna Holman and Trenton Guidry.

·Any student interested in auditioning to be a part of the 2026 Color Guard can pick up informational flyer at the Wildcat Window or the band room from Mr. Hirst

Congratulations to Carson Aucoin. He was recognized as the Overall Best in Show (in the parish) for his art submission for the 4-H Art and Talent Show 

Congratulations to the following 4-H members who competed at the 4-H Southern Regional Shooting this weekend! 

Ruston Graham placed 10th in the Nationals Competition , and Olivia Vulgamore earned 11th place in the 3-D shoot.

Both Ruston and Olivia have qualified to compete at the Louisiana State 4-H Shoot in Archery this April.
