ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR FRIDAY, MARCH 6, 2026   

ATHLETICS:  

·Congratulations to the Lady Cats softball team for their 7-3 win yesterday over Prairieville. The Lady Cats are back in action today at Acadiana.

·Today, the JV Green and Varsity baseball teams will play at home against Fontainebleau. Games start at 4pm.   The JV gold team will play at Catholic starting at 6pm. Tomorrow the varsity baseball team will play again starting at 10am.

·Congratulations to the Following Tennis Team members for winning their matches yesterday against Prairieville High: Kameron Boykin, Presley Dinacola, Eva Bencaz and Analeigh Murry. 

·Congratulations to the boys track & field team for placing 4^th and the girls for placing 3^rd at yesterday’s meet at Denham Springs.  Individual Awards:

o    Eli Hegwood got 1^st place with a PR 14’6” in pole vault.

o    Adalyn Rider got 2^nd place with a PR of 9’6” in pole vault.

o    DJ Breaud PR 42’3” and took 3^rd place in shot put.

o    Nyla Riggins took 1^st place in 100 and 1^st place in the 200 with a PR of 25.3.

o    Arielle Patterson took 3^rd place in the 200 and 400 with a PR of 1:05. 

o    Logan Cookmeyer got 3^rd place in high jump and 3^rd place in the triple jump with a PR of 32.4. 

o    Kameron Rheams took 2^nd place with a PR of 43.6 in the triple jump and 3^rd place in the long jump with a PR of 20’7.5”.

ALL STUDENTS:

·Are you interested in being a Golden Wildcat? Our Dance Team Tryout Packets are now available at the Wildcat Window and the Annex! Tryouts will be held March 23-27! Packets are due March 19th!

·FCA is meeting this Friday in the Glen Ellis gym before school from 7-the bell.  Everyone is invited to attend!

·Join us tonight at Serenity Events 6pM to see our theatrical performance of Into the Woods!

·Students, grade cutoff is next Wednesday.  Make sure you have turned in all assignments for those that permit late assignments.

·Prom News: Limited Time Tickets are currently on sale until next Wednesday. You MUST clear before purchasing your prom ticket. If you do not clear, expect your prom ticket to be voided.  If you are a senior, you must purchase a Limited Time Ticket in order to be considered for Prom King or Queen.
