ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR FRIDAY, AUGUST 28, 2026
ATHLETICS:
·If you missed ordering an athletic letterman jacket last year we will be taking orders on Thursday during all lunch shifts in the new gym lobby. Order forms can be picked up from the Annex and must be pre-approved by your coach showing that you have lettered. This is the last order date until December.
·Interested in joining the Wrestling team? On September 1st, there will be a parent meeting from 6:00-6:30 and a tryout from 6:30-8:00 PM in the Wrestling Room
(located on 2nd floor of the Fieldhouse, next to the football stadium). Please be sure to bring a CURRENT LHSAA physical with you. Both boys and girls are welcome to try out! For further questions, reach out to Coach Chris Godso in Rm. T-126.
·There will be a bass fishing team meeting on Monday, Aug. 31st, at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. If you're not part of the team and would like more information, come out and join our meeting.
·Students, we need you tonight as our football teams kick off their season with our Jamboree against Denham Springs. The games are here at Wildcat Stadium. Freshmen play at 5pm, followed by JV & Varsity. The theme for tonight is Minions ... come out and show your school spirit and support to our football teams!!
SENIORS:
·Seniors, interested in being a student section leader? Grab a form from the Wildcat Window and turn it in to Mrs. Normand in room 1013 by Tuesday, September 1st. There will be a meeting in Room 1013 on Wednesday after school until 3:00.
STUDENTS:
·Any student interested in joining HOSA: A student organization for future healthcare professionals, should pick up a registration packet outside Mrs. Bourn's room, 311.
