ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THURSDAY, MARCH 26, 2026  

SENIORS:

·Herff Jones will be here on Friday, March 27, taking orders and payments. This is the last day they will be on campus taking orders.

·If you have any scholarship information that you have not turned in, you must email Ms. Lyles at Nicole. Lyles@lpsb.org. The deadline to submit any scholarships is May 4th. Only scholarships submitted by the deadline to Ms. Lyles will be acknowledged at either senior awards or graduation.

ATHLETICS:

·Congratulations to our Varsity Track and Field Team for their awards at the Parish Meet on Tuesday. 

·The boys team came in 2nd overall.  The girls team came in 3rd overall.

·Dylan Breaud came in 3rd in the 100 & 200 meters.

·Maleik Georgetown came in 3rd in the 110 hurdles.

·Aiden Hebert came in 3rd in the discus

·Eli Hegwood came in 1st in pole vault and 3rd in the 400 meters.

·Kameron Rheams came in 2nd in the triple jump.

·Arielle Patterson came in 1st in the 100 and 3rd in the 400 meters. 

·Logan Cookmeyer came in 2nd in the high jump. 

·In the 4x100 the boys’ team came in 2nd and the girls’ team came in 3rd 

·In the 4x200, the boys’ team came in 2nd place, and the girls’ team came in 3rd 

·In the 4x400 both the both the girls’ and boys’ teams came in 2nd 

·In the 4x800, both the girls’ and boys’ teams came in 3rd place

·Great job Track & Field

·Today, our Lady Cats softball team will play St. Amant, here at home starting at 5pm. 

·The JV and Varsity baseball teams will play at home today against French Settlement. JV starts at 4pm, followed by Varsity. 

·We have received a first shipment of letterman jackets. You can check to see if your jacket is in at the Annex during your lunch break. The next letterman jacket order will not be until April 24th.not this Friday. 

·Congratulations to Creed Elledge for his 2^nd place finish yesterday in the boys' golf match at Beaver Creek!
