December Scholarships


The Hagan Scholarship

Deadline: December 1, 2023

1. Must be a U.S. Citizen. 2. Must attend a traditional public high school located in the U.S. that is governed by a school district. 3. Must have achieved a 3.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average. 4. Must enroll at an Eligible Four-Year College or University the first semester following high school graduation. 5. Must maintain a four year or less graduation schedule in college. 6. Must work 240 hours from January 1, 2024 until commencement of the 2024 fall semester in college. Work can be performed at recipient discretion. Work must be regularly scheduled employment performed under supervision for compensation. Most recipients work during the summer months. However, all paid employment counts, including part-time employment during this time period. 7. Applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2022 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $85,000. “Household Income” is defined as the total income received by all members of a household living under the same roof. 8. Applicants selected as Finalists in early 2024 must provide a copy of their FAFSA SAR. 9. Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible. 10. Must not have a felony conviction.

The intended recipient is a high-achieving goal-driven student having substantial financial need.



Brooks Law Group Scholarship

Deadline: December 1, 2023

Up to $1000; must write an essay on safe driving



Amazon Future Engineer

Deadline: December 15, 2023

You can receive a scholarship of up to $40,000 (up to $10,000/year) towards an undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science and an offer to complete a summer internship at Amazon!



Kids' Chance Scholarship Program

Deadline: December 20, 2023

The Louisiana Bar Foundation is the state chapter of a national organization that awards scholarships to the children of Louisiana workers who have been killed or permanently and totally disabled in an accident compensable under a state or federal Workers' Compensation Act or law.



Path to Pro

Deadline: December 31, 2023

  • Be a high school senior, high school graduate or have a GED equivalent.

  • Plan to enroll, or be enrolled, in an approved trade-related program at an accredited two-year school (technical/vocational school or college) in the United States.

  • Not be an employee or dependent of an employee of the The Home Depot. Employees of The Home Depot and their dependents are eligible to apply for a scholarship from The Homer Fund.

  • Focused on Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Construction Management



BX Bond-Exchange Scholarship

Deadline: December 31, 2023

To apply, simply write a 250-500 word essay that you think best answers the following question:
