ATHLETICS:
·        Tonight, the boys’ basketball team plays today at Southside High in the regional round of the playoffs. The game will start at 6:30pm. Tickets are $5 for students and $12 for adults. They only accept cash at the door.Â
·        Congratulations to the JV baseball team for their win at Catholic of Pointe Coupee.  Today the freshman baseball team will play Doyle here at home at 3:30pm and the varsity team will play Warren Easton here at home at 5pm.
·        Congratulations to the Lady Cats Golf team for their first place finish in their match at Copper Mill yesterday. Congratulations to golfer Evelynn Artieta for finishing first overall.
·        Today, the Lady Cats softball team will play away at Archbishop of Hannan.
·        The tennis team will play Parkview today at Forest Park.
·        The boys’ golf team has a match at Greystone today.

CONGRATULATIONS:
·        Congratulations to our Marine Corps JROTC who competed in the Central Raider Challenge this past weekend. They finished 3rd overall. Also, congratulations to the MCJROTC Drill Team that competed at LSU. They finished 1st place overall for the 2nd year.  Great job MCJROTC!
·        Congratulations to the following students who qualified for the State Literary Rally in their respective courses:

ALL STUDENTS:
·        The Cookie Site will be closed today. It will reopen on Wednesday.
·        This Friday, is Fundraiser Friday. For $2 students may wear casual dress. Pay your first block teacher on Friday. Casual dress must meet casual dress guidelines. As always, bottoms must either be blue jeans without holes or school bottoms. Shirts must be school appropriate, full length and have sleeves. The funds raised will go to house fire victims from the Walker community.
·        On Wednesday, the United States Marine Corp recruiter will be at all three lunch shifts. Please plan to visit with him for the most current information about the Marines.
·        Have you signed up for our ACT Bootcamp yet? The deadline to sign up is Friday. The bootcamp is March 5 and March 7, 2:45-4:45, immediately after school.Â
JUNIORS/SENIORS:
·        During homeroom on Wednesday you will receive information about Prom. Please make sure all fees have been paid so that you can purchase a ticket.Â
SOPHOMORES:
·        Jostens will be in the new gym lobby today during all 3 lunch shifts and after school until 6pm to take class ring orders.
