ATHLETICS:
·        Today, our Lady Cats basketball team will be playing in the Final Four Semi-Finals at Southeastern against Parkway at 6:15pm. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the venue with a card or online at SELU’s ticketing site. Come out and support your Lady Cats as they play for a chance to go to the finals.
·        Today, our varsity baseball team will travel to West Monroe for games beginning today through Saturday.Â
·        Also, today our track and field team will be competing in the Yellow Jacket Kickoff meet at Denham Springs.

ALL STUDENTS:
·        Today our guidance office is closed while our counselors attend training. If there is an emergency, please contact the front office for an administrator.
Tomorrow is Fundraiser Friday. For $2 students may wear casual dress. Pay your first block teacher on Friday. Casual dress must meet casual dress guidelines. As always, bottoms must either be blue jeans without holes or school bottoms. Shirts must be school appropriate, full length and have sleeves. The funds raised will go to house fire victims from the Walker community.
·        Students, don’t forget to sign up for our ACT Bootcamp. Tomorrow is the deadline to sign up. The bootcamp is March 5 and March 7, 2:45-4:45, immediately after school. You are encouraged to take advantage of this.
PROM INFORMATION:
·        If you did not receive the Prom handouts you can pick up a copy from the Annex or the Wildcat Window during lunch or between classes. Remember, all Walker students must purchase his/her own ticket and all those attending must submit a completed Clearance Sheet to the Annex in order to receive your ticket.  Tickets are now on sale. The deadline to purchase is Monday, March 11th.Â
FUN FACT:
·        Today is Leap Day so Happy Birthday to all our students that finally get to celebrate their birthday on their actual birthday. February 29th only happens once every four years to align our calendar with the Earth’s orbit. The next leap day is 2028!
