ATHLETICS:
· Congratulations to our volleyball team for their wins against West Feliciana yesterday. The Lady Cats are back in action here at home on Thursday against Mandeville and will be playing for the first time in Wildcat Gymnasium. Come out and support your Lady Cats on Thursday.
· On Friday, our Wildcats will play Ponchatoula here at home in Wildcat Stadium for our first official home game for 2024. Students, you are reminded… backpacks and bags are subject to search. No artificial sound devices, no boom boxes, no confetti and no megaphones or microphones are permitted. No powder is allowed. Tickets are now on sale at: i2Tickets.com for $10. At the gate the price increases to $12. You still have time to purchase a Student Athletic Pass that will get you into every regular season athletic home event. Start making plan for Friday!!!
ALL STUDENTS:
· If you are a Senior and are interested in being an MC at the pep rallies this year, pick up a paper from the Wildcat Window. Papers are due Monday, September 9th. Tryouts will be after school on Wednesday, September 11th.
· The first HOSA chapter meeting will be tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 5th from 5 - 7:30 pm in Mrs. Hamilton's room, room 1115. Enter the building at the doors by carpool. Don't forget to turn in applications to Mrs. Hamilton or Mrs. Bourn. They are due Sept. 27th. The HOSA officer application survey is in google classroom. Those applications are also due Sept. 27th.
· Students, the grade and excuse cutoff for the first interim will be Thursday, September 5th. Make sure you get in all late work (for teachers that accept late work) and any excuses by Thursday!
· Today, the US Marine Corp Recruiter will be at all lunch shifts in front of the cafeteria to talk about what the Marines has to offer students after graduation. Be sure to stop by their table! Tomorrow, we will have a recruiter from Southeastern.
