ATHLETICS:
· Athletic letterman jacket orders and patch orders will be taken on Wednesday, in the new gym lobby during all lunch shifts.
· Congratulations to the boys’ basketball team for their win over Springfield in the parish tournament yesterday. They play again on Thursday at 5pm.
· Today the Lady Cats basketball team will play at 6:30pm at Springfield against Holden in their first game of the parish tournament.
· The wrestling team has a match here at home today in Wildcat Gymnasium against Slidell. Come out and support your Wildcats.
ALL STUDENTS:
· Attention Beta Club: Today there is a meeting after school with Ms. Bajon in room 1008.
· WHS FCA is selling sweatshirts for $25. You can purchase through online school payments. The deadline to order is Friday.
· Students, how about a little Christmas fun to celebrate our school receiving an “A” performance score? Tomorrow, you are permitted to wear an Ugly Christmas Sweater with uniform bottoms!!! There is no cost. Just make sure your sweater follows school guidelines. This is NOT a free dress day… only Ugly Christmas Sweaters with uniform bottoms are permitted. The top 3 “ugliest sweaters” will be given a prize!!!
· On Friday, you are invited to come and enjoy our Band of Legacy as they present their Christmas Concert in Wildcat Gymnasium at 7pm. And, our Art and Graphic departments will be showcasing and selling some items. Please come out and support these groups at this awesome event.
· Attention: Students taking the ACT on Saturday, Dec 14th …. You will report to a different location for this testing date. You should report by 7:30 AM to the Annex Building located off Burgess on the north side of campus—Park in the lot accessible by Burgess Ave. across from Westside Junior High. Students should bring their printed admission ticket, a picture ID such as a driver's license or school ID, a personal calculator, and pencils. Please note: LA Wallet is not accepted by ACT. Finally, check that your calculator meets ACT guidelines by visiting ACT.org or checking the flyer outside room 1007. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Turner in room 1007.
