ATHLETICS:
· Today, our JV volleyball team will be playing in the Woodlawn Jamboree. Good luck Lady Cats!
Our football jamboree will be on Friday here in Wildcat Stadium as we take on Denham Springs. Gates open at 4:30pm, Freshmen start at 5pm, followed by JV & Varsity. Students, you are reminded that backpacks and bags are subject to search. No artificial sound devices, no boom boxes, no megaphones or microphones are permitted. No powder is allowed. Tickets are on sale at: i2Tickets.com for $10. At the gate the price increases to $12. The athletic student pass does not include the Jamboree so everyone attending will need to purchase a ticket!
· Those that are interested in being on the Tennis Team this school year need to come by the Annex to pick up the Tennis information packet and an LHSAA packet. There will be a mandatory meeting for all those interested, this Thursday, Aug 29 immediately after school until 3:30 in room 312.
ALL STUDENTS:
· If you registered for Beta Club, don't forget the first meeting is today after school in Ms. Bajon's room 1008.
· The FFA Carpentry team will practice after school today and Thursday. Meet in room 5003 immediately after school.
· Today, we will have a representative from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi available at all lunch shifts in the cafeteria. Be sure to stop by their table in front of the cafeteria to find out more information about Millsaps.
· If you are interested in becoming a member of HOSA, a student organization for Future Health Professionals, pick up an info packet outside of Mrs. Hamilton's room (1115) or Mrs. Bourn's room (301). There will be an informational meeting Thursday morning at 7:00 am in Papa John's.
FRESHMEN:
· Attention Freshman, if you attended Westside last year and ordered a yearbook, your yearbook can be picked up from the Annex.
