Announcements for Wednesday, August 16, 2023

ATHLETICS:

· Congratulations to the volleyball team for their win in their scrimmage yesterday against West Feliciana.

· The Walker High football team is currently seeking student managers to assist with practice and game day operations. Any interested student should contact one of the football coaches during your lunch period.

· We will be having mascot tryouts next week. If you are interested in trying out, pick up a packet by the Wildcat Window between now and Friday. Packets are due Monday, August 21st.

· Any boys that are interested in playing golf need to sign up in the Annex by the end of the week. If you picked up a packet, but didn’t put your name on the sign-up please come back to the annex and sign the paper during your lunch.

ALL STUDENTS:

· Today is ID picture day for 11th grade students. At your appointed time, go straight to the new gym lobby to have your picture done.

· Any students who are interested in being a student custodian should sign-up at the annex during your lunch break. Hours are 2:30-4:30, Monday through Friday. This is a paid position.

SENIORS:

· Seniors, if you did not receive your senior portrait proofs during homeroom yesterday, please check at the Annex during your lunch.
