Announcements for Tuesday, March 14, 2023

ATHLETICS:

  • Congratulations to our Tennis team for their wins over Lutcher yesterday. The boys team won 3-1 and the girls team won 3-0.

  • Today, the Lady Cats softball team will play at home against Live Oak at 5:30pm.

  • The JV and Varsity baseball teams are playing at French Settlement. JV is at 4pm, followed by Varsity.

  • The girls golf team will be playing at Carter Plantation.

  • Congrats to our Esports Wildcats on their 16-1 CS:GO win yesterday over Whiteland Community HS (Whiteland, IN). Great job Wildcats!

  • Any student interested in being a football manager needs to contact any of the football coaches to sign up.

JUNIORS:

  • Any current Juniors interested in the FireFighter course for next school year should pick up an application from guidance. All applications are due to the Guidance Office on Wednesday, March 23, 2023.

JUNIORS/SENIORS:

  • The Senior/Junior Prom will be on Saturday, March 25th. Tickets are $15 each and are now on sale at: walkerhigh.org. Many of the ticket purchases are from students who owe paperwork to guidance. Your tickets will be placed on “hold” until this is resolved.

SENIORS:

  • Seniors, Herff Jones will return on Wednesday to take Senior Supply payments. They will be set up in the lobby of the new gym during your lunch break.
