ATHLETICS:
· Our football jamboree will be on Friday here in Wildcat Stadium as we take on Denham Springs. Gates open at 4:30, Freshmen start at 5pm, followed by JV & Varsity. Start making plans to come out and cheer on your Wildcats!
· Those that are interested in being on the Tennis Team this school year need to come by the Annex to pick up the Tennis information packet and an LHSAA packet. There will be a mandatory meeting for all those interested in being on the Tennis team this Thursday, Aug 29 immediately after school until 3:30 in room 312.
· If you ordered an athletic letterman jacket or patches in May, the first delivery was made last week. You can pick up your jacket from the Annex during your lunch or before/after school … not during or between classes.
ALL STUDENTS:
· If you’re interested in being part of SGA, pick up a packet at the wildcat window. We extended the deadline for one day only due to the overwhelming response. Today, is the deadline!!!
· Smoothies will be sold today on all lunch shifts for $6. You may only purchase with a card. The Smoothies will be located at the East Wing of the South campus building.
· Today, we will have a United States Marine Corps military recruiter in the lunchroom during all three lunch shifts to talk with interested students. Please stop by the table in front of the cafeteria to get the most current information about the MARINES. Tomorrow, we will have a representative from Millsaps College visiting.
· If you are interested in becoming a member of HOSA, a student organization for Future Health Professionals, pick up an info packet outside of Mrs. Hamilton's room (1115) or Mrs. Bourn's room (301). There will be an informational meeting Thursday morning at 7:00 am in Papa John's.
FRESHMEN:
· Attention Freshman, if you attended Westside last year and ordered a yearbook, your yearbook can be picked up from the Annex.
