ATHLETICS:
Congratulations to the girls’ tennis team for their 4-1 win over Zachary.
Today, the Softball team will play away at St. Amant at 5pm.
It is Senior Night for our Varsity baseball team. They play East Ascension at home at 6pm. Seniors will be recognized at 5:15pm.
The track & field team will be competing at home this afternoon.
The girls’ golf team will be competing at Oak Knoll and Santa Maria.
This is the last call to try out for girls’ soccer. See Coach Brenna today or tomorrow during your lunch shift for a packet.
There is a bass fishing team meeting this evening in the cafeteria at 6:30pm.
ALL STUDENTS:
Tutoring with Ms. Wagner is cancelled today. Students, don’t forget to take advantage of our tutoring sessions each day before and after school. The complete list is on the App.
Thursday is Fundraiser Day to raise funds for Teacher Appreciation Week. The cost is $2. Money should be paid to your first block teacher on Thursday. Casual dress MUST meet casual dress guidelines. No leggings, crop tops, or sleeveless shirts. Holes in jeans should not be above the knee.
LPPS will be offering Driver’s Ed at Walker High April 24-April 28th. Space is limited to the first 60 students that enroll and pay. The cost is $400. You may pay online at walkerhigh.org, or cash or money order only.
