ATHLETICS:
· Tonight, is our Homecoming Game as our Wildcats take on the Prairieville Hurricanes in Wildcat Stadium at 7pm. Tickets are on sale at i2Tickets.com. Come out and support your Wildcats.
· Big winners in Esports! Super Smash Brothers won their match against Oberlin High School 4 to 1. Congrats to Noah Stephenson and Hudson Graham! Overwatch won their match against Conway from Arkansas 3-1! Congrats to Will Rotolo, John Lee Lockhart, Jacob Marchbank, Leuclus Keel, Gabe Hart, and Kendall Thompson! Today Rocket League will play Alexandria Area High School! Good luck!
ALL STUDENTS:
· The HOSA meeting tonight has been cancelled and rescheduled for Tuesday, October. 8 from 5-6:30 pm in room 1115.
· An Acadian Ambulance recruiter will be here for ALL lunch shifts. Stop by the table in the front of the cafeteria to get information about Acadian Ambulance. A Delta College recruiter will be in the cafeteria at all lunch shifts on Friday.
· Next Monday, October 7th is the cutoff for this interim so be sure to get your excuses and make-up work in (for teachers that accept late work).
· Students, do you want to improve your ACT score? There will be an ACT Bootcamp October 22 & 24 for $42. Sign-up and pay online by Friday, October 18th.
· Tomorrow is the homecoming parade and class float competition. The parade will start at 5pm. Come out as we continue to celebrate Homecoming 2024!
· Listen carefully about the following information regarding the homecoming dance. At some point today … but there is not a specific time… dance tickets will be texted to the phone number you submitted on your clearance sheet. If you got a piece of paper saying you still owed for your ticket. You will still get a dance ticket today and you will go online to pay for it next week. On Saturday, before you get to the door, make sure you have your ID ready to show and your ticket ready for scanning. If you do not have these 2 items ready, you will be sent to the end of the line! The dance is from 7:30-10:00pm. There will be concessions but we only take cards and we will have a photo booth and other photo opportunities! We are looking forward to this fun event.
JUNIORS:
· The Junior Ring Ceremony is October 24th. Make sure you have completed the participation link that was sent to you in KiNVO. The deadline to sign up to participate is Wednesday, October 16th. If you still owe a payment to Jostens make sure you take care of this. All balances are due by Friday, October 11th. If you ordered a ring from somewhere other than Jostens you can start bringing in your ring either to the main office or the annex so that it can be presented to you at the ceremony. Deadlines and times are on social media and extra forms can be picked up from the Annex.
