ATHLETICS:
· Our Lady Cats volleyball team will play at home today against Dutchtown. All students who attend can get in for $1 and will get a free hot dog! Freshmen start at 4pm, followed by JV and Varsity. Come out and support your Lady Cats tonight.
· Today is Livingston Parish cross-country meet at North Park. Good luck to our cross-country team.
· Congratulations to our E-sports Wildcats on their 3-1 Super Smash Bros victory yesterday over Altoona High School of Altoona, Wisconsin. Great job Wildcats!
· Tomorrow the Wildcats will play at Live Oak in an important district game. Come out to Live Oak and show your support.
CONGRATULATIONS:
· Congratulations to Sawyer Herring. Sawyer won first place at the Livingston Fair Competition in both the Essay Contest and the Poster Contest. Great job Sawyer.
ALL STUDENTS:
· Fundraiser Friday will happen tomorrow. The funds raised will be used to purchase candy for our annual Trunk or Treat. The cost is $2. Students will pay your first block teacher. Remember the casual dress guidelines which include ONLY BLUE jeans without holes or uniform bottoms with a casual school appropriate shirt. Shirts must be full length and must have sleeves. Thank you for supporting this worthy cause for our community.
· Homecoming pictures are in! You can pick up your pictures from the Annex during your lunch shift.
· Tomorrow is the deadline to sign up for the ACT Bootcamp which will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, October 24 & 25, from 2:45-4:45pm. The cost is $42.
FRESHMEN:
· Attention Freshmen: If you ordered a yearbook from Westside last year you can pick it up from the Annex during your lunch shift or before school.
SENIORS:
· Herff Jones will be here Tuesday, October 24 taking senior orders. They will be set up in the new gym lobby during all 3 lunch shifts. Any student wanting to participate in the graduation ceremony must purchase a cap and gown from Herff Jones.
