ATHLETICS:
· Congratulations to our Lady Cats volleyball team as they have wrapped up a great season.
· Congratulations to our Wildcat Wrestling Team. They defeated Archbishop Hannan by a score of 42-33. Helping pick up the win for the Wildcats each with a pin were Colton Lanier, Devin Nicholson, Kye Karcher, and Carson Knight. Great job Wildcats!
· Today, our Lady Cats basketball team will play in a scrimmage at Lafayette.
· And, our Lady Cats soccer team will be scrimmaging in Ponchatoula.

· Tonight, our Wildcats take on East Ascension here in Wildcat Stadium. Our Band of Legacy will have their Senior Recognition at 6pm followed by Senior Recognitions for football, cheer and dance. Come out and support all your Wildcats on Senior Night!!!
· On Monday, November 11th we will have Meet the Wildcats at 5:30pm in Wildcat Gymnasium for our basketball, soccer, wrestling and bass fishing teams. After Meet the Wildcats will be our annual Bloomer Bowl at 6:30 in Wildcat Stadium. You don’t want to miss out on these two events on Monday!!!
ALL STUDENTS:
· Walker High's annual food drive is currently going on through Wednesday, Nov. 20th. The top 3 first block classes will receive a donut party. Please don’t forget to bring in those non-perishable food items.
· Our annual Veterans Day Program hosted by FFA will be on Monday, November 11th. Be sure to register your veteran by using the QR code sent through social media, Kinvo, and posted around campus.
· On Tuesday, November 12th there will be a Pizza fundraiser at Rotolo’s for our boys’ basketball team. 20% of all sales will benefit our Wildcats so be sure to order pizza and support our Wildcat basketball team.
SENIORS:
· Attention midyear graduates: Applications for midyear graduates are now available in the guidance office. You may pick them up before or after school or during your lunch. You are not allowed to go during class to pick up an application. Applications are due on Friday, November 15th.
· The next senior order will be on Monday, Nov. 11th in the gym lobby during all lunch shifts.
· Louisiana Christian University in Pineville is offering a full tuition scholarship to any senior with an ACT Composite or Superscore of 28 or higher. Students can apply at lcuniversity.edu.
· Seniors, there are several other scholarship opportunities with upcoming deadlines. Be sure to check them out on the app under the blog November Scholarships!
OTHER DEADLINES:
· Tomorrow, November the 8th is the deadline to register for the December 14th ACT. Past this date, you will have to pay a late fee. Go to myACT.org to register.
· Monday is the deadline for excuses and assignments to be turned in for this upcoming interim.
