MAINTAINING OUR “A” STATUS IN THE SCHOOL PERFORMANCE SCORE

ATHLETICS:
· Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team on their wins last night against H.L. Bourgeois. The JV team won 30-26 and varsity won 68-18. The Lady Cats will be back in action on Saturday versus Berwick. Varsity only at 2:00pm.
· Congratulations to our wrestling team for defeating Live Oak 57-24 last night. Coming up with pins for the Wildcats were Luis Chavez, Devin Nicholson, Kye Karcher, Carson Knight, Hunter Frederick, and Mac McKinney. Great job Wildcats!
· Tomorrow, our football team takes on Southside in the 2nd round of the playoffs, but the game will be played at Comeaux High, not Southside. Tickets are available through Southside’s ticket site or with cash at their ticket tent at the game. Be sure to read their stadium guidelines that we have posted on our social media.
· Four members of the boys’ swim team will be competing tomorrow and Saturday in the Class 5A State Championship Meet in Sulphur. Good luck to Noah Courville, Wyatt Howard, Remy O’Reilly and Jonah LeBlanc who will be competing in 3 events.
· The next athletic letterman jacket and patches order will be on Wednesday, December 11th. You can get an order form from your coach or the annex. All forms must be signed by the coach indicating you have lettered in your sport.
ALL STUDENTS:
· Again today, we have several theater students that will present “A Charlie Brown Christmas Musical” to an elementary school this morning. They have been marked accordingly in power school. Teachers, please permit them to leave after the checking in at 1st block. Students, don’t forget … this is a nightly production. You can get your tickets at i2Tickets.com. Please come out and support our theater department.
· CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL who participated in our food drive … the food drive yielded about 2000 items. The winners are ….
