ATHLETICS:
· Today, our Lady Cats volleyball team will travel to Ponchatoula to play. Freshmen start at 4pm, JV and Varsity will follow. Good luck Lady Cats!
CONGRATULATIONS:
· WHS MCJROTC drill competed over the weekend at Natchitoches Central High. The drill team had an exceptional start to their season placing:
-2nd Overall in Physical Training
-2nd Overall in Rifle
-2nd Overall in Unarmed Drill
-3rd Overall in Armed Drill
-Aaliyah Rodriguez finished 1st Place overall in Knockout drill which featured over 150 cadets.
This weekend the Raider Team will travel to Kentucky for the National Raider competition. The Drill team will be traveling to Tulane to compete. Good job cadets and good luck this weekend!
ALL STUDENTS:
· Today, FCA invites you to join them for Pizza & Jesus during all 3 lunch shifts in Papa Johns.
· Tomorrow, there will be a HOSA Track or Treat prep meeting after school in Mrs. Hamilton's room 1115 and on Thursday we will meet in Mrs. Bourn's room 301.
· Tomorrow evening and Wednesday evening at 6:30pm our Theater department will be presenting a “Boo” production of “13 Scenes from Halloween” and on Saturday they are hosting “Wiley Wildcats Haunted House” that will be located in the Glenn Ellis Gym. Tickets are on sale for both events at i2Tickets.com.
· Our Annual Bloomer Bowl will be on Monday, November 11 at 6:30pm, immediately following "Meet the Wildcats." Today is the deadline to turn in your registration form and pay the $25 registration fee.
· Come out to our annual Track or Treat on Monday October 28. This is a family community event with candy, costumes, inflatables, and more! Come dressed up in your Halloween costume and enjoy the fun.
· Students, are you interested in going to London and Paris in 2026? There will be an informational meeting on October 29th at 6pm in the theater room. Come find out how you can be part of this trip.
SENIORS:
· Senior orders will be taken tomorrow by Herff Jones during all three lunch shifts in the Wildcat Gymnasium lobby. A $100 deposit is due with package orders or the full payment if you are not ordering a package. All balances will be due by February 15th.
JUNIORS:
· The junior ring ceremony is Thursday. All juniors that plan to participate in the ring ceremony should be signed up. All rings from outside sources should have already been turned in. Jostens will bring rings that were ordered from them. If you have not signed up or turned in your ring yet you need to see Mrs. Branch in the Annex during your lunch shift.
