ATHLETICS:

· Congratulations to the football team for their win over East Ascension. This week the Wildcats take on Live Oak at Live Oak. Start making plans to come out and support your Wildcats!

CONGRATULATIONS:

· Congratulations to the JROTC for being the overall champions at the Ponchatoula Drill Meet on Saturday. Of the eleven events, Walker won seven, placed 2nd in three, and third in one. Congratulations JROTC!

· Congratulations to the following students that earned the honor of making the LMEA All-State Band!

o Symphonic Band: Selena Stafford – Oboe; Ethan Brister – Bari Saxophone; Jeremy McGee – Trombone

o Concert Band: Owen Small – Alto Saxophone

o We are proud of you!

JUNIORS:

· Tonight, is the Junior Ring Ceremony at 6pm in the new gym. Juniors, you are to be in the gym no later than 5:40pm to find your designated seat on the gym floor. Doors will open at 5:30pm and we will start promptly at 6pm.

ALL STUDENTS:

· ACT Bootcamp will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, October 24 & 25, from 2:45-4:45pm. The cost is $42. The deadline to pay and sign up is Friday, October 20th.

· The restrooms at the stadium are closed!
