Announcements for Monday, November 13, 2023

ATHLETICS AND EVENTS:

· Congratulations to our Wildcats for their playoff win over Benton High. Round 2 will be Friday night at Northshore in Slidell.

· Congratulations to the wrestling team for their success this weekend at the Lakeshore Open. Toni Jarreau, Kye Karcher and Gabe Millbern earned Gold and Kye was also awarded Overall Wrestler. Jace Beckendorf got silver. Zack Polk came in 3rd place. Luis Chavez and Hunter Brooks came in 4th place.

· Good luck to all our Wildcats that will be competing in the State Meet at Northwestern today.

· The boys’ soccer team will play Central at 6pm tonight here at home.

ALL STUDENTS:

· This Friday is Fundraiser Friday for the art department to raise funds to pay for their pottery wheels. The cost is $2 for students to wear casual dress. Students will pay their first block teachers. Casual dress can include any school appropriate full length shirt with sleeves. Bottoms can either be BLUE jeans without holes or school bottoms. Thank you in advance for supporting this worthy cause.

· If you are interested in AHEC's Day with the Doctors, DASH into Dentistry, CI: Healthcare or AHEC of a Summer you can get information on application requirements from Mrs. Bourn in room 402. Application Deadline is November 21st.

· ACT is offering a Buy One Get One Free test! It's not too late to register for the December 9th ACT test. ACT is accepting late registration through November 17th. You can sign up at ACT.ORG.
