ATHLETICS:
Congratulations to the boys’ basketball team for their win over Ouachita. The boys will play in the semi-finals in Lake Charles against New Iberia on Thursday at 8pm.
The JV & Freshman baseball team will play away, at Parkview today. JV is at 4pm, followed by Freshman.
The tennis team will play St. Michael at Forest Park.
Any student interested in being a football manager needs to contact any of the football coaches to sign up.
CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to the Walker High Legacy Color Guard for placing 2nd in their class in Mississippi Saturday at St Martin High School Winter Guard show.
ALL STUDENTS:
Tomorrow is Pre-ACT day for all 9th & 10th graders and 11th graders will take the ACT. Here are some important notes!
o Be on time.
o Report to your testing room when the 1st bell rings.
o All students must bring a charged computer and charger for testing.
o Must have your school ID or picture ID.
o Bring your own approved calculator.
o Bring a pencil for scratch work.
o Get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast.
o NO CHECK-OUTs will be allowed during testing… even if your class has completed testing.
o 11th grade students taking the ACT, need to link your ACT account to the code you received in homeroom last week. If you do not have an account, create one and link it to your code.
o Seniors who are not testing… will not attend school tomorrow. This is a virtual school day for you. Your teachers will have an assignment posted for you to complete.
Reminder! Friday, March 10th is the cut off to turn in doctor excuses and to make up assignments for those teachers that accept late assignments.

The deadline to sign up for the April 15th ACT is quickly approaching. If you are interested in taking this ACT you must sign up by March 10th at ACT.ORG.
Students, don't forget that Online Scheduling is available through Wednesday, March 8th. All documents must be returned to guidance by Thursday, March 9th.

Senior 2023 Crewnecks are on sale for $10 while supplies last at The Green and White Cookie Site. These can be purchased at www.greenandwhitecookiesite.com or in store. Supplies are limited!
JUNIORS/SENIORS:
The Senior/Junior Prom will be on Saturday, March 25th. Tickets are $15 each and will be on sale starting Wednesday, March 8th. You will receive more information about Prom in homeroom on Wednesday.
