Announcements for Monday, August 21, 2023

ATHLETICS:

· Today is “Meet the Wildcats” in the stadium at 6pm. Come out and show your support to all our athletes that will be competing in the fall sports. We will recognize football, cross country, swim and volleyball, as well as our Band, Cheerleaders and Golden Wildcats.

· All Mascot tryout packets are due today!

· If you signed up or are interested in boys’ golf: There will be a meeting next Monday, August 28, at 2:45 in Coach Tanner's room, room 1110. Please have your ride pick you up by 3:30pm.

ALL STUDENTS:

· This Friday is our first Fundraiser Friday. Students can pay $2 to your first block teacher to wear casual dress. Casual dress includes wearing ONLY blue jeans with NO holes or school bottoms with a shirt of your choice. Shirts must have sleeves and be full length. All money raised from the Fundraiser Friday will go to the FFA Chapter to purchase supplies for no sew blankets for needy students in the community this winter.

· Attention Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy Members: the meeting for this week has been cancelled.

· If you are interested in joining the Beta Club, you need to attend the inquiry meeting on Wednesday, after school in room 1008.

· On Tuesday, an ARMY recruiter will be in the cafeteria during your lunch shift. Please stop by his table to get current information about the ARMY and have them answer any questions you might have.

· Today, we will begin checking parking tags. If you are driving to school, you must have your parking tag hanging from your rearview mirror so that we can see the color & tag number.
