ATHLETICS:
· Tonight, the football team will play away at Fontainebleau High. The game starts at 7pm. Admission is $10. Fontainebleau will accept cash at the gate or you can pre-purchase tickets through GoFan for $10 + a processing fee.
The Lady Cats JV volleyball team will play today in the Chapelle JV Tournament. Good Luck Lady Cats!
The swim team will have their kick off meet at Capital City on Saturday. Good luck Wildcats
Our MJROTC Raiders will compete this weekend at home. Good Luck Raiders!
ALL STUDENTS:
· Students, for the Homecoming pep rally, students can participate in the annual Battle of Classes Dance Off. If you would like to participate in the dance off, pick up a form at the Wildcat Window before school or during Lunch. Forms must be turned into Mrs. Normand or Mrs. Gallman by September 14th. You must turn in your form and attend all practices to participate.
JUNIORS/SENIORS:
· If you are a junior or a senior and you are interested in being emcee at our pep rallies this year, pick up an application and turn it into Mrs. Normand or Mrs. Gallman by September 12th, auditions will be held after school on September 13th.
FRESHMEN:
· Any 9th grade student interested in being a part of Walker SGA should complete the online application by Tuesday, September 12 at 2:30 P.M. The link for the application was sent in the app and is located in the Newsfeed. It is also posted on Walker High School's Facebook page.
SENIORS:
· Seniors, visit the WHS APP or webpage for available scholarships. Deadlines are quickly approaching.
UPCOMING IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES:
· Today is the excuse/grade cutoff!
· Senior photo make-up day is Saturday, September 16, 9am-Noon.
· Open House will be Monday, September 18th at 6pm. Wednesday, September 20 is Teacher Professional Development. No school for students.
· The Gates Scholarship is due September 15th.
· We the Future Scholarship is due September 17th.
